Arigato Studio

Since 2017 I have partnered with Arigato Studio to create content, mostly scripts for all the types of videos they offer.

Our client portfolio includes all types of private sector enterprises, non-governmental organizations, and education institutions, among others.
.
Working with Arigato has made it clearer how foundational a conceptual, story-told and clear message is, yet how by itself without tailored and throughout visuals, won’t achieve our client’s goals.

By understanding exactly who the client is, and what they want to achieve, I am able to develop the concept and scripts for the videos, and to communicate to our designers and animators how exactly the results should look, feel and sound.

Take a look at some of the videos we’ve created together.

GMT Radio

They key to my ability to create the best content is my background in journalism and research. Navigating complex issues and interpreting events with a critical approach are pivotal when creating content that stands out and radiates quality.

And I not only do it in English.

Listen to some of my work for GMT Radio (in Spanish), where I explained and analyzed every morning in a primetime slot the U.S. political and economic panorama after the 2016 Presidential Election to a Latin American audience.

Left Behind

More than 3 out of 10 people that have arrived in Greece seeking a safe haven from conflict and poverty since 2015 are children and teenagers, according to UNHCR numbers.

Though resilient, minors are among the most vulnerable displaced population. Access to health and education, as well as safety, are the most common challenges they face when they take the journey from their homes to Europe.

Some get lost, others lose their families, and most misplace the little possessions they travel with. This essay depicts objects left behind by children in their entrance and transit throughout Greece and the spaces that represent Europe to them.

From the arrival points in the coasts of Lesvos, to the frontier in with Macedonia, children have been everywhere, seen everything, and have left behind traces of their displacement that put in perspective not only the magnitude of the emergency, but who is the world failing the most by not addressing conflict-induced migration from a humane and compassionate perspective.

Left Behind was displayed in the Viewpoints: Migration, Mobility and Displacement Exhibition.
